Helping You and Your Teen Through the Challenges of Growing Up
You’ve Noticed a Change in Your Teen, but You’re Not Sure What to Do
Your teen might seem more withdrawn, overwhelmed, or not quite themselves. Maybe they’re shutting down, snapping more often, or struggling with school or their relationships.
You’ve done everything you can think of—you’ve offered advice, given them space, and tried to be there for them. But nothing seems to get through. It’s painful to see them struggling and not know how to help.
You're not alone. I'm here to help both you and your child with compassionate, personalized teen therapy and parent support.
What Your Teen Might Be Going Through
Being a teenager means navigating so many changes, both inside and out. It can be exciting, confusing, overwhelming, and everything in between. Sometimes, teens experience deep or intense emotions, but have difficulty putting them into words.
Your child may be dealing with:

Anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional shutdown
Depression, low mood, or isolation
Perfectionism, absenteeism, or burnout
Shame, body image concerns, or low self-esteem
Identity exploration (gender, culture, neurodiversity, sexuality)
Substance use, self-harm, or risk-taking behaviours
Friendship and relationship challenges
Disordered eating
Life transitions (changing schools, moving countries, becoming an adult)
Worry about their future (university, career, adulthood, relationships)
Whether they’re facing big emotions, tough transitions, or questions about who they are, teen therapy can give them a safe and supportive space to make sense of it all.
A Counsellor Who Understands Teens and Parents
Hi, I’m Claire. I offer therapy for teens and their parents or caregivers in Switzerland, the UK, and Europe, helping both young people and adults nurture their emotional well-being, self-understanding, and resilience.
Before becoming a counsellor, I taught in international schools for more than 20 years. I’ve worked closely with adolescents in various roles, assisting young people navigate relationships, academic pressure, identity questions, and all kinds of life changes.
As a parent myself, with children who weren’t born here but grew up in Switzerland, I understand how challenging it can be to navigate life away from your country of origin — for both parents and teens. Whether you’re newly arrived, moving again, living between cultures, or settling in, each stage brings its own challenges and questions. I’ve been on this journey too, and I offer a warm, understanding space where you can feel supported.
My approach is person-centred and trauma-informed, honouring your child’s unique needs, voice, and all the different parts that make them who they are. Together, in a culturally sensitive, neurodiversity-affirming, and non-judgmental space, we can explore whatever you or your teen may be facing. I’m here to help.
We can talk about anything — I’m here to help you find your way.
Teen Support — How Therapy Can Help
In our work together, your child can:
Build greater self-awareness, self-confidence, and emotional resilience
Develop healthier and more sustainable coping strategies
Learn additional ways to manage big emotions like anxiety, overwhelm, or stress
Explore and connect with their unique strengths and values
Gain further confidence in who they are and where they’re headed
Teen therapy offers a supportive space that’s just for them — where they can take a breath, reflect, and explore what’s going on internally — all with a trusted adult outside the family. Seeking this kind of support is a sign of your commitment and care, and simply adds another layer of support, to work alongside what you’ve already put in place.
Teen therapy provides a space where they don’t have to perform or explain. They can just be who they are. It’s a place to feel seen, figure things out, and strengthen their confidence from the inside out.

Parent Support - Because You Deserve Care Too
Parenting comes with love, worry, and everything in between. When your child is struggling, it can feel like you’re constantly second-guessing how to help.
That’s why I offer support for parents, too–a space just for you. Here, you can explore your feelings, reflect on what’s coming up in your parenting, and feel less alone in it all.
Together, we can:
Explore your worries and fears without judgment
Build on strengths you already have as a parent
Strengthen communication and connection with your teen
Find the words, patience, and strength for those tough moments
Reflect on what’s going well and what you’d like to change
Reconnect with your values and the parent you want to be
Discover strategies to rebuild trust, repair relationships, and restore hope and harmony at home
You don’t need to have it all figured out, and it's never too late to create positive change.
I’m here to help you feel more confident in what you're already doing well and explore changes that feel right for you and your teen.
