Care That Helps You Move From Surviving to Thriving

You may look like you’re managing just fine. Maybe no one would guess how much you’re holding—how tired you feel, how disconnected, or how hard it’s been to keep going.

It might be a recent change that’s left you unsteady. Or maybe things have felt off for a while, and you’re not sure why. You just know something needs to shift.

Whatever’s bringing you here, psychological counselling can offer space to slow down, be heard, and begin to reconnect with yourself, your values, and what matters to you.

I offer psychological counselling in English to adults in Switzerland and across Europe. Whether you’re navigating life abroad, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, parenting, or trying to determine who you are and what you want out of life, I’ll provide support that’s grounded, compassionate, and attuned to your unique experience.

It’s Okay to Reach Out For Help

Life can be heavy sometimes, even when things look fine on the outside. Maybe you’ve been pushing through for a while, feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just not quite yourself. Psychological counselling offers a place to pause, feel supported, and take care of what’s been building up beneath the surface.

Over the years, I’ve supported adults through a wide range of emotional and life experiences. Many of my clients come to counselling for support with:

Mood and emotional struggles (e.g., anxiety, overthinking, depression, numbness, sleep issues)

Trauma, abuse, and recovery

Identity and life transitions (e.g., gender, sexuality, neurodivergence, retirement, relocation, chronic illness, spirituality or faith)

Relationships, intimacy, and parenting challenges

Grief, loss, and existential concerns

Work, burnout, and perfectionism

Body image, self-esteem, and coping behaviours (e.g., disordered eating, substance use, self-harm)

Women's health and life stages (e.g., motherhood, menopause)

Psychological Counselling for Expats and Life Abroad

Therapy with someone who understands the challenges of living between cultures.

Relocating to a new country can bring so much change, some of it exciting, some of it overwhelming. You may be adjusting to a new culture, feeling disconnected from your sense of self, or managing everyday life without the community or support system you once had.

I’ve lived in Switzerland for over 20 years and have raised a family here while navigating many of these same shifts. I understand the quiet complexities that come with expat life—from identity loss and culture shock to questions like “Where do I belong?” or “Who am I becoming?”

Whether you’re parenting far from extended family, adapting to a new work culture, or simply feeling like you haven’t quite found your footing, psychological counselling can help you feel more grounded, resourced, and at home in your own life.

A Relational, Integrative Approach to Mental Health Support

Therapy with me is collaborative, flexible, and deeply relational. I’m person-centered, meaning the relationships we build within psychological counselling will lay the foundation for our work. I don’t follow a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, I use an integrative approach that draws on multiple modalities, shaped by your needs, goals, and pace.

Some of the approaches I use include:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Existential Therapy

  • Narrative Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Body-Mind Connection

Come Just as You Are

You don’t need to show up with the right words or have it all figured out.

Psychological counselling is about creating a space where you can bring all the parts of yourself, your strengths, questions, pain, and hope. We’ll move at your pace, with gentleness, honesty, and a little humor, toward more clarity, self-trust, and ease.

You deserve care that’s tailored to you.
